Warranties & Workmanship Guarantee

Serving Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and surrounding Yavapai County communities.

When you invest in a kitchen or bathroom remodel, you're trusting a contractor with your home, your budget, and your time. At Infinity Kitchen and Bath, we believe that trust needs to be backed by a written commitment. Every project we complete comes with a workmanship warranty on labor and access to manufacturer warranties on materials — so your investment is protected long after we leave the job site.

Our Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our installation work. Our workmanship warranty covers labor defects for 2 years from the date of project completion. If something we installed fails because of how it was installed — not because of a product defect or owner-caused damage — we will return and make it right at no cost to you.

Covered under our workmanship warranty:

  • Tile work — cracked grout lines (not caused by settling or movement), loose tiles, improperly sealed surfaces
  • Cabinet installation — misaligned doors, improperly secured boxes, drawer hardware failures due to installation error
  • Countertop installation — failed seams, unsecured edges, improper cutouts for undermount sinks
  • Fixture installation — leaks at supply line connections caused by improper fitting, loose drain assemblies
  • Flooring installation — lifting planks, gapping at seams, squeaking from improper subfloor prep
  • Shower systems — grout or caulk failure at control and shower head penetrations, improperly seated shower bases

Our warranty is included in every written contract. You receive documentation at project completion specifying the warranty period and how to submit a claim.

What Is Not Covered

A warranty is only meaningful when it's honest about its limits. The following are not covered under our workmanship warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear — grout discoloration from use, minor scratches, fading from sun exposure
  • Owner-caused damage — cracks from impact, staining from improper cleaning products, damage from modifications you make after project completion
  • Manufacturer product defects — if the product itself is defective (not the installation), that claim goes to the manufacturer under their product warranty
  • Structural movement — cracks caused by foundation settling or seismic activity beyond our control
  • Deferred maintenance — damage resulting from failure to maintain sealed surfaces, re-caulk annual wear areas, or follow care instructions we provide

If you're ever unsure whether an issue is covered, call us at 928-800-1998 — we'll assess honestly.

Manufacturer & Product Warranties

In addition to our workmanship warranty, most of the products we install carry separate manufacturer warranties. These vary by brand and product category. Below are typical coverage terms for the products we commonly install:

Product Category Typical Warranty Notes
Semi-custom cabinets 1–5 years Varies by manufacturer; covers finish and box integrity
Custom cabinets Limited lifetime Most major custom cabinet lines offer lifetime warranty on box construction
Quartz countertops 10 years to limited lifetime Silestone, Cambria, MSI, and similar brands; covers manufacturing defects
Granite / natural stone Varies by supplier Natural materials have limited product warranties; fabrication quality is key
Plumbing fixtures Lifetime limited (Delta, Moen, Kohler) Finish warranty typically 1–5 years; function warranty often lifetime
LVP / luxury vinyl flooring 15–25 years (residential) COREtec, Shaw, Mohawk; wear layer warranty on residential use
Solid surface shower systems Limited lifetime (product) Covers manufacturing defects in solid surface panels and bases

Specific warranty terms are provided in writing at project completion for every product installed. Ask us for documentation on any product before we begin.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Making a warranty claim with Infinity Kitchen and Bath is straightforward. Here's what to do:

  1. Call or text us at 928-800-1998 and describe the issue. Photos help us assess before we arrive.
  2. We schedule a site visit — usually within 5–7 business days for non-emergency issues, sooner if there's active water damage.
  3. We assess the cause — we'll honestly determine whether the issue is a workmanship defect, a product defect, or something outside warranty coverage.
  4. We repair or remediate — if covered under our workmanship warranty, we repair or replace at no charge. If it's a manufacturer defect, we assist you in filing the product warranty claim.

We do not charge a service call fee to assess warranty claims during the warranty period.

Why Warranty Matters When Choosing a Contractor

A warranty is only as good as the contractor standing behind it. Unlicensed contractors and cash-only operations have no formal accountability — if the work fails, you have no recourse. When you hire a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor like Infinity Kitchen and Bath (AZ ROC #339999), there is a regulatory framework that holds us accountable.

Key differences when hiring a licensed vs. unlicensed contractor:

  • Licensed contractors must maintain active bonding and insurance as a condition of licensure
  • Homeowners can file complaints with the AZ Registrar of Contractors if a licensed contractor fails to honor warranty work
  • Permits pulled by a licensed contractor are inspected — giving you an independent third-party verification of work quality
  • A written contract with a licensed contractor is enforceable; a verbal agreement with an unlicensed operator is not

Before signing any remodeling contract, ask for the warranty in writing, confirm the ROC license number, and verify it at roc.az.gov.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is your workmanship warranty?

Our workmanship warranty covers labor defects for 2 years from the date of project completion. This is in addition to any applicable manufacturer or product warranties, which may extend coverage further depending on the product.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?

The workmanship warranty applies to the work performed at the property. If you sell your home within the warranty period, you can provide the new owner with the warranty documentation. Manufacturer warranties vary — some are transferable, some are not. We'll provide clear documentation for each product so you have the details you need.

What if a product fails but the installation was correct?

If the product itself is defective — for example, a quartz slab with a manufacturing flaw — that's a manufacturer warranty claim, not a workmanship claim. We'll help you navigate the process with the manufacturer or supplier, including providing our installation documentation to support the claim.

Do you provide warranty documentation in writing?

Yes. Every project contract includes warranty terms. At project completion, we provide a summary document outlining the workmanship warranty period, the scope covered, and the process for submitting a claim. You receive this along with any manufacturer warranty cards or registration information for the products installed.
